Had a mini session with this BEAUtiful couple over the summer! [I am a little behind in blogging, but I am going to catch up!] It may have been a quick session, but it was so much fun and they both kept me laughing the whole time! I'm glad I was able to be apart of their special day, especially since they are {Fam}ily! :)
Once upon a time there was a couple who embarked upon the mysterious ways of the woods to share in love, secrets, and stories... <3
It all started on the beautiful family farm of lots and lots of acres. The chariot golf cart awaited to take the prince and princess around the grounds. The first stop was the enchanted wood cabin castle in the woods where the paths twisted and twines with tree covered ways.
As we moved forward we came to the open gold shining field of wild flowers and willow trees where they danced in the fields and kissed under the lavishing vines.
As the day neared, we ended by the pond next to the big red barn...
Can you say SWOON!! It was like a fairytale. It was a fabulous/fun engagement session and the wedding to follow will also be a winter wonderland!
On May 24th, I and my second shooter Lauren, had the utmost pleasure of photographing a wedding with such an awesome couple! Even though we only met a couple times, I knew this wedding would be fun, crazy exciting, teary eyed, and full of love. I was 100% right. These two in every picture I took of, you could see the love radiating.
When arriving where the bride was getting ready, the groom was standing outside. Not even all the way up the drive way, he was already making jokes. After that you knew this was going to be the BEST day. Starting with the makeup, each girl had a turn to get all dolled up. Being with all the Bridesmaids and some family, the bride was calm and glowing.
Meeting the bride and groom at the ceremony, a first look was taken. These are so fun! It gives them time without all the pressure of seeing each other in such an intimate setting. Wedding days can be such a whirlwind, but in that moment of catching the eye of love of your life, everything stops.
The ceremony was sweet (even at the end when they both were being pelted with bird seed) and the reception was at a beautiful depot in Chelsea. The details were so intricate and each piece fit so well with the couple. From beginning to end, this wedding was fabulous and I'm so happy I was chosen to share in their special day!

Graduation day is nothing short of amazing! Graduating from Michigan State University makes it even better. ;) (No bias or anything.) These amazing girls graduated from MSU and wanted to "kapture" that beautiful moments from late nights studying, (out having fun in-between), to passing all those important exams and hanging around teaching children all day, that led to this huge moment of joy. These girls graduated Sunday May 4th and are teaching our future generations!
